Michael Seubert

Michael Seubert is a master goldsmith and state-certified designer for the craft, in the fifth generation, residing in Munich. After finishing training as a diamond appraiser and gemologist (FGG) at the DGemG in Idar-Oberstein, he has been a publicly appointed and sworn expert for jewelry and gemstones at the IHK Munich since 2008, and since 2013, a publicly appointed and sworn expert for goldsmithing. In 2013, he began teaching at the Master School for Gold and Silversmithing. From 2012 to 2020, he was involved in the expert department of the Central Association of German Goldsmiths. In 2015, he was elected to the board of the Central Association of German Goldsmiths and has been its president since 2020. He is a member of the journeyman examination committee, the master examination committee, and the examination committee for experts in the Central Association of German Goldsmiths. He is an Associate Member of Gem-A, specialist member of the Austrian Gemmological Society, specialist member of the DGemG, and a member of the advisory board of the DGemG.
