The 8th International Gem and Jewelry Conference (GIT 2025) under the theme Responsible Gem & Jewelry Supply Chain, was held on 8–9 September 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Erawan, Bangkok, Thailand. Once again, the conference presented an opportunity to connect partners and stakeholders across the global gem and jewelry sector, while providing a platform to exchange the latest know-ledge on sustainability, responsible practices, gemology, innovation, jewelry design, and manufacturing, as well as market trends. Participants included more than 20 expert speakers and professionals in the global gem and jewelry industry.
For decades, Thailand has served as a significant production base for the global gem and jewelry industry, widely recognized for its exceptional expertise in gem-stone sourcing and enhancement, as well as its refined craftsmanship in gem cutting and jewelry manufacturing. In 2024, the Thai gem and jewelry industry delivered remarkable achievements, with export values reaching USD 18,000 million, an increase of 25.5% from the previous year.
